I Whisper
A Spiritual Poem
I whisper
God’s name
in the late
hours of
the evening
and wait
for my spirit
to open
like a morning
glory for
people to see
and understand.
I whisper
God’s name
in the morning
hours before
the dawn
so that I
can find
my way home.
