Leaf Meditation

I stare at my wall,
Inscribed are leaves of oak
And strokes of life,
Nature’s masterful embroidery.
They intertwine with each other,
And the leaves become the strokes,
The strokes become the leaves,
An endless field of infinite creation.
I take a breath of sunshine,
While the fragrant moist
Imbues my lungs
With ever-burning incense of vitality.
Breathe once. Breathe twice. Breathe thrice.
I melt beneath the ground
And rise above the sky.
We breathe.
