The Consciousness, the heart, and the breath of the universe
The Essence and the Being
Loves me, and you, and all living things
My very existence depends on the divine awareness
Imprinted on everyone and everything
This is too much
I cannot fathom this mystery
This generosity
This constant and continual giving
For if I accept this
Internalize this truth
How can I justify my hesitancy so many times
To give of myself to others in need of my support and love
And what to make of my frequent anger
Towards my fellow brothers and sisters
How can I rationalize or excuse this?
In this vision, under this light
It is clear

Race, ethnicity, gender and sexual identity
Are all witness to the variety
That She encompasses
And in which She rejoices
Religions are simply guideposts
To help lead people
To an awareness of Her
To believe in Her
Is to believe that all things are possible
Nothing is supernatural or miraculous
For all that flows from Her
Is natural, though some
Remains part of the untapped potential of all humankind
That only a few as yet have been able to unleash
Science is neither to be feared nor worshiped
But to be embraced
Its discoveries help us know more about ourselves
And the universe in which we dwell
The search for truth can never be in conflict
With the desire to better know Her Who is all Truth
And Who alone for me is the pathway to meaning
The Way that…
