We have all done it; speaking for myself, I have done it many times. It is the worst type of lie that can be told. We all lie to God on a somewhat regular basis.

Sitting in the waiting room of a hospital and your loved one is clinging to life, and you make a “deal” with God. “Please have them get better, and if you do, I will……..(fill in the blank)
