That stern voice of discipline is You.

When I commit to a bad choice,
That wise voice of prudence is You.

When I achieve something,
That jubilant voice of pride is You.

When I lose my way,
That illuminating voice of light is You.

When I’m forlorn and down,
That loving voice of solace is You.
