Manifest
To bring the unconscious to the light of day
Skin burns away
Peeled, pink and raw
A blackout in the retina display
Everything will infect
unless we protect
Salve spread and gauze gently laid
We wait a spell
time will tell
before we can reveal
The heal
As we bring it to the light of day
