Why do you forget me?

If you love me

Why do you forget me?
I make you fragrant,
more fragrant than
other flowers in the garden.
I make you brighter
than the brightest
diamond there is,
Then why, do you forget me?

I break you free from the chains
that make you a prisoner,
in this world of attachments.
Then why do you forget me?

I am always present,
ever willing to be with you,
to embrace you, to kiss you,
But, you still don't come down my alley.
I do everything for you,
Then why do you forget me?

You say you love me
But the very next moment
You get seduced by this world
If you love me,
Then why do you forget me?
