Noosa Junction Street Art Map

Noosa has long been a favourite beach destination. It’s far enough away from the rest of the Sunshine Coast hot spots to feel as though it’s reserved exclusively to vacationers, and there is plenty to do there to keep you entertained for a long stretch off work or a short visit to check out the waves or get your fix of street art.

That’s right! Noosa has street art. On the main street, Sunshine Beach Road, Noosa Junction street art abounds with pieces by Sunshine Coast locals Alison Mooney, David Houghton, Mr Mupz, Joel Birch and Runamuk, as well as fellow Queenslanders Sofles, Drapl and Treazy.

All of the best artwork in Noosa can be found with a nice stroll around Noosa Junction between Sunshine Beach Road and Layana Way, just parallel.

With the help of the lovely Alison Mooney, who we had been stalking for some months prior to heading up to Noosa, we were able to identify all the best spots to find the artworks. Those have been added to this map, which you can download and follow next time you visit.

Alison Mooney

This is the first time we have seen murals by Alison Mooney, although we’d long followed her, looking forward to finding her walls. We were not disappointed when coming up on her gorgeous abstract work.

David Houghton

David Houghton has work all over Queensland, loads of which can be found on the Sunshine Coast. His work gives a beautiful nod to the natural world, typically featuring local wildlife.

Mr Mupz and David Houghton

Another one with work all over the Sunshine Coast is Mr Mupz, who often teams up to co-create beautiful works, as he has done here in Noosa Junction with David Houghton.

Joel Birch

Joel Birch is everywhere in Noosa Junction, with his words splayed out along buildings ready to ignite curiosity and smiles, in reaction to his own sweet smiles.

Graffiti and street art legend, Sofles, bagged a killer wall here in 2016 which is still looking popping as ever, showing off his signature graffiti art style.

Runamuk Visual

Art and apparel brand, Runamuk Visuals, have their mark on Noosa Junction, alongside Drapl and Treazy, tucked in at a little outdoor beer garden just off the main street.

Drapl and Treazy

The ultimate co-creators, Drapl and Treazy, are known for teaming up to produce epic work, and the piece they have in Noosa Junction is no exception.
