Introducing Our New Identity
When we founded Spleet in 2018, our sole focus was to solve a problem we had personally experienced — getting apartments that didn’t require a fortune in upfront payments. Over the years we’ve learned and evolved beyond just that early focus. Spleet has become more than just a way to save on upfront rent for our members. It’s where they’ve formed deep bonds with new friends, created homes that fit their lifestyle, and in many cases, discovered new places they previously never knew. We’ve also become a valued partner to our homeowners, helping them get value from their homes without the worries that come with renting.
Today, we are announcing a new visual identity to reflect our evolution.
Today, we are announcing a new visual identity to reflect our evolution. Centred around our vision of making living across the continent much easier, it reflects our continued focus on the people who trust us, the spaces they live in and/rent out and the connections they make within those spaces.
Working with the amazing guys at Acumen, we’ve created a new logo and wordmark that’s much more balanced and consistent with our vision. We’ve also updated our tone to be more fun, smart, caring and most importantly welcoming. Our members already know how seriously we take their everyday living concerns, and now we will be bringing that to fore even to people who interact with us outside our spaces. Over the next few weeks, you’ll see our updated colours and logomark show up across our social media accounts and websites.
Beyond the new visual identity, we will also be rolling out new products and features too, starting with our new host product that makes it easier for homeowners to list and manage their spaces, and an updated search feature that makes finding spaces on Spleet a breeze.
