Button(s): 25 characters max

Output
Headline (30 characters):
Missing the game? Let us help!
Body (171 characters): We’ve all missed a game. It happens, but it doesn’t have to! Start by choosing your team and we’ll help you set up reminders, real-time score updates and video highlights.
Button(s):
Find your team [14 characters]
Setup notifications [19 characters] → reminders, real-time score updates, video highlights

Comment:

I tried to get straight to the point with the headline. This time in a more informal, friendly tone. I imagine the voice of this sports app is that of a friend because it aims to help the user to remember events and catch up with what they might have missed — pretty friendly, right? Moreover, watching sports is often involves gathering with friends, whether it is at home (e.g., Super Bowl parties) or out at e.g., a bar, pub or live at the stadium/arena.

The body text tries to empathise with the passionate sports fan in saying this is something that happens but the app is now there to help them. We tell them reassuringly; “Don’t worry! There’s a fix and here’s how!”.

For the buttons, I opted to stay at two main buttons: selecting the team to follow because it is crucial but also most emotional and personal. When someone is upset, it is good to reassure them by introducing something familiar. Limiting the buttons to two lessens the cognitive burden and decison making and also makes for a cleaner design.

Then, once the user has selected their team, they can proceed to tap button number two which will take them to the setup section of the app where they can opt-in to the described features of the app in more detail.
