Spoken word poem

For some it’s right or wrong,

left or right

Helpful when it comes to reading roadsigns,

but when it comes to life,

It puts people in the corner,

or categories of shades of grey,

leaving no room for gradients of grace and life

Life shaped by our experiences,

colored by our stories,

rooted in our characters

The only one who can read in between the lines,

without judgement

Is the one who lived life to the full

And lived that life,
