Why my first smartphone will be a Fairphone

A spoken word poem

My first smartphone will be a Fairphone.

One that is made, not by the hands of those

who should be out there, to learn and play

One that is produced without chemicals

that are poisoning our planet,

But with a mindset that this could be a phone

that is created to stay.

With a story that is stronger,

than any size, feature or interface.

Because it rings of a movement of people

that chose to believe

that this phone

can be a reminder,

day by day,

of our common concious choice

to contribute to a world

that is fairer, greener and more humane.

Therefor I am proud to say,

My First Smartphone will be

A Fairphone,

From today.
