Slime is the ridiculously popular trend that just won’t disappear.

For the past three months, since search interest peaked, it’s been the go to video of choice for influencers.

The videos consist of influencers testing different recipes for making slime, usually with everyday household ingredients, to see which ones come off the best.

This video demonstrating how to make fluffy slime in rainbow colours has more than 19 million views on YouTube.

Over the last 12 months search interest in slime videos has increased, coming to a head at the end of May.

However, interest has remained high since then and the trend looks set to continue throughout the summer at least.
