This weekend, thousands of people across the world met up to celebrate #WWIM14 (aka the WorldWide InstaMeet 14) at different locations, and Copenhagen was one of them. We gathered to share the two things we can all agree on: Instagram and FOOD!

Over recent years, Denmark has put itself on the map as one of the food capitals of the world. This made it the perfect excuse to meet up and enjoy some of the lovely food Copenhagen has to offer.

The gathering was initiated Geet Khosla and co-hosted by us to not only enjoy food, but also the company of people across different industries, from Instagrammers to food makers and ad creatives. One example was Sweet Sneak Studio, who not only nail all the above categories but also took great care of us, giving us a good rush of sugar with their lovely chocolates, cakes and cookies.

The dinner was held bang in the centre of town at STRØM WORKS’ top-floor office, overlooking Copenhagen’s lovely skyline which Ursula Bach didn’t hesitate to capture.

Gastro Trucken’s lovely gazpacho with dyed black breadsticks to match the straws (and make the dish even more Instagrammable) was a crowd-pleaser as well.

A big thank you goes to Geet for planning this very spontaneous meetup and to those who showed up on such short notice: Monique, Mike, Ursula, Gitte, and Andreas. It was lovely seeing you all and I’m looking forward to more events in the future!
