Spooky Pets 009: Troy Built
Happy Spooky Tuesday friends! We’re more than halfway through October, and hope everyone is enjoying the spookiest time of the year.
This week, the Spooky Pets community chose to help rebuild Troy, not the city, but the puppy. Troy is an adorable eight month old pibble in California who was found as a stray wit ha badly broken pelvis.
We don’t know much about where Troy came from, but he was found abandoned along the railroad tracks in Kern County and was unable to move. He spent several days in the shelter with a broken pelvis and without mobility before he was pulled by Love Leo Rescue. The folks at Love Leo got Troy to a vet, where he underwent a successful surgery and was fitted with a plate.
Troy is recovering nicely and is otherwise in surprisingly good health. As we write this (Monday) he is being prepped for release and will recover with a foster. According to the Love Leo team, Troy is a sweet, affectionate and well mannered dog. He is adoptable, chipped, neutered and vaccinated. And though Troy’s new family will have to help him fully recover and adapt to life in a real home, he is expected to have full mobility. If you’re interested in adopting Troy, you can apply HERE!
