7 Ways You Can Practice Self-Love Today

1. Rest — recharging our batteries. Making time to do nothing has tremendous healing effects on the body & mind. Sometimes a good night’s sleep is all we need to feel refreshed.

2. Pronoia — see things differently. Operating on the understanding that everything that happens in life is happening for our growth eliminates the need to hold onto resentment toward others & encourages us to look for the lessons embedded in each experience.

3. Truth — being real with ourselves. Living in alignment with what we feel is right reduces the amount of conflict we experience in life significantly because we are not in conflict with ourselves. We are not here to please anyone but ourselves.

4. Meditation — detaching from thought. Watching thoughts pass through our minds without attaching ourselves to them is how we create peace of mind. Clearing our minds for a few minutes each day creates significant improvements in our mental health.

5. Mindfulness — living in the now. Our deepest joy is to be experienced in the present moment, grounding ourselves when we become distracted by thoughts of the past or future by using our senses allows us to experience life instead of following the movement of thought.

6. Community — our positive vibe tribe. Self-love is a way of life that prioritises the way we want to feel, therefore we must spend our time with the people who truly want to nurture & support our growth.

7. Exercise — moving into the body. Sweating during exercise drains toxins from our lymphatic system and stimulates the release of endorphins which are feel-good chemicals that give us a natural high.

Self-love is doing what makes you feel good regardless of what others think about it.

Peace & positive vibes.
