9 Things Every Self-Love Sunday Needs To Have

1. Yoga — moving into the body. Stretching familiarises us with the body we’re living in, regulates blood circulation and helps to relieve aches & pains.

2. Meditation — clearing the mind. One of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves is to offload the mental baggage we’re carrying. We can do this by practicing detachment from thought during meditation to prevent us from following every single thought that arises.

3. Nature — surrounding ourselves with peace. Taking long walks in nature and breathing in clean air helps us to oxygenate our organs which brings us to a natural state of peace.

4. Bathing — cleansing ourselves. Bodily hygiene is one of the most important parts of our self-care routine as it helps us to cultivate good physical health.

5. Food — nourishing the body & mind. Eating healthy, fresh foods is a form of self-love and one of the fastest ways to balance low mood.

6. Music — attuning our vibration. Music has the ability to inspire us with different feelings, playing music that makes us feel good is one of the ways we can create peace of mind today.

7. Creativity — letting the mind roam free. Drawing, singing, painting, dancing & cooking are all examples of creative expression that help us to maintain our emotional health.

8. Rest — making time to do nothing. Operating at full speed takes its toll on the body & mind, downtime helps us restore our creative juices & feel energised.

9. Manifesting — visualise the perfect week ahead. Creating a mental picture of exactly how the week will look, sound, smell, taste & feel when everything goes according to plan is how we begin manifesting our desires. Belief is one of the key ingredients to manifestation.

Self-love is all about how you treat yourself.

Peace & positive vibes.
