6 Things You Need To Remember When You Fail

1. Perspective — we never fail, we either win or we learn. The only true failure giving up, all of the mistakes we make along the way are teaching us valuable lessons that will make us even better at what we do if we choose to learn from them.

2. Growth — we grow through what we go through. Suffering is essential in the development of man, for he is both the marble and the sculptor. Each time we have some of our marble chipped away we must keep in mind that we are being sculpted into our greatest version.

3. Patience — there’s no such thing as overnight success. We must adopt the marathon mindset if we are to create the success we desire, this consists of taking continual action over time instead of rushing to the finish line. Success is a marathon, not a sprint.

4. Resilience — fall down seven times, stand up eight. If our dreams are important to us we will keep trying no matter how many times we fail. When success seems impossible we must keep in mind — we haven’t failed, we’ve found some ways that don’t work.

5. Improvement — getting better instead of bitter. Our failures are stepping stones to success, we can either see them as reasons to be frustrated or we can see them as opportunities to develop our skills further.

6. Passion — doing what we love. Asking ourselves “am I doing this for the right reasons?” gives us a chance to check in with ourselves after failure and assess whether or not we actually want to try again. There is no shame in walking away from things that no longer fulfill us — this is called self-love.

Often the setback comes before the setup.

Peace & positive vibes.
