6 Work-Life Balance Tips You Need To Know

1. Play — having as much fun as possible. Blurring the lines between work & play allows us to have a more fulfilled experience on the planet because we don’t have to separate our time into obligations & commitments.

2. Create — expressing ourselves creatively. When we create we are allowing emotions to be expressed which prevents them from manifesting in poor mental & physical health.

3. Rest — making time to do nothing. Trying to work as much as possible leads to burnout, we must understand our bodies & learn to take breaks before the body forces us to.

4. Plan — doing what we want when we want. Building our lives around what we love to do & giving ourselves varied experiences each day prevents us from falling into a rut where we feel like we’re living the same day on repeat.

5. Bursts — taking massive action in short intervals. The only way to achieve our goals is by taking action, but there’s no need to force ourselves to the point of exhaustion. We must also recognise how much we’ve done & that it’s necessary to give ourselves time to recuperate.

6. Tribe — surrounding ourselves with people who want us to win. We must remember to be highly selective with the people who choose to include in our lives because they will influence the choices we make.

There’s no such thing as work when you love what you do.
