How To Trust Your Gut

The gut is the second brain and it can tell us a lot about where we are in our lives. Whether you’re nervous, unsure about something or excited — the gut can help us to make decisions that will serve us. Making decisions from only the mind encourages us to live in the ego — tuning into the body helps us live from spirit.

The body is the most advanced technology and when we ignore what its trying to tell us — we can find ourselves in difficult situations. Your gut instinct feeds you information based on where you are and what you’re doing. Develop the ability to listen to your gut and you’ll find it easier to create a life you love.

To be able to tune into the body we must first lose the mind and come to our senses. Get into nature and immerse yourself in your senses — what can you see, hear, taste, smell & touch? This grounds us in the now and is a way of actively tuning into the body.

Once you’re able to interpret the outside world through your senses instead of the mind you can then be present with the body. Close your eyes and pay close attention to what each part of your body is trying to tell you. This can be in the form of aches and pains as well as tingling sensations.

Build this practice over time and work on it each day, once you’re able to tune into the body without interference from the mind you will be able to interpret your gut’s response to the external world.

When you receive an invitation to go somewhere you may feel the gut trying to tell you not to go — becoming familiar with our bodies over time will help to discern what they are trying to tell us. Our bodies are highly advanced technological devices — we need to learn how to use them to our advantage.

Lose your mind & come to your senses.

Peace & positive vibes.
