9 Things You Can Do To Empower Yourself Today

1. Exercise — moving into the body. Sweating releases toxins that reside in the lymphatic system and strenuous exercise also stimulates the release of endorphins from the brain to make us feel good.

2. Create — what we came here to do. We are multidimensional beings having a human experience, we came here to play, create, have fun and then go back home.

3. Gratitude — appreciation of life. Expressing thanks for being alive to witness the wonders the world holds moves us into the abundance mindset and attracts more reasons to be grateful.

4. Laugh — medicine for the soul. Laughing exercises the lungs and is a form of healing as it releases energy absorbed from trauma.

5. Meditate — observing our thoughts. When we meditate we are allowing our thoughts to pass through the mind freely without judgment and this alleviates much of the stress we can feel by following the movement of thought.

6. Detachment — releasing all sense of control. Acknowledging that we are not in control of anything but what we choose to think, do & believe gives us a great sense of freedom.

7. Expression — letting emotions flow through the body. Singing & dancing are forms of expression that free us of residual energy trapped in the body.

8. Learn — seeking knowledge. Feeding our minds with content that will help us along our journeys and putting it into practice prevents us from repeating past mistakes.

9. Praise — celebrating how far we’ve come. Taking time to appreciate how much we’ve changed for the better and looking forward to what comes next.

Life is happening for us, not to us.
