7 Lies You Can Stop Telling Yourself Today

1. I’m not good enough. There is only one remedy to improving our skill level and that is to practice. Practice makes better, not perfect because perfect doesn’t exist.

2. I can’t. Anything the mind can conceive, we can achieve — however if we do not believe we are capable of achieving our goals they will never materialise. Positive affirmations are one of the most powerful ways of reprogramming limiting beliefs.

3. I should. The word “should” implies that we are feeling obligated to do something. When we are presented with obligations we must remind ourselves that there is no such thing as “I have to”.

4. I don’t have the time. We make time for the things that are most important to us, if we don’t have time for it — it’s not a priority.

5. I have bad luck. There are many things outside of our control, but we have agency over the vessels we reside in. We create our own luck with what we choose to think, do and believe — it’s all in our control.

6. It’s not my fault. We have the freedom of choice, hence everything we’re experiencing in our lives is a result of the choices we’ve made. When we claim responsibility for why we are where we’re at then we can start creating our reality from the creator perspective rather than the victim mentality.

7. People don’t like me. When this lie comes up we must ask ourselves — “have I met every person on the planet?” and more often than not the answer will be no.

We all make choices, but at the end of the day our choices make us.

Peace & positive vibes.
