6 Ways You Can Change Someone’s Life Today

1. Be the change — lead by example. We cannot hope to create change for others if we are not embodying those changes. We cannot pour from an empty cup — once we fulfill ourselves, then we are in a position to help others and allow our overflowing cup to quench their thirst.

2. Inspiration — encouraging others to fulfill their potential. Being the voice of encouragement and optimism when others are feeling down is how we can show up powerfully for them.

3. Humour — projecting positive energy. Sometimes all we need to uplift us is laughter, being the reason why someone smiles or laughs shows that we are making a difference in their life.

4. Positivity — being solution-focused. When we hear others say “I can’t” we can ask them “why can’t you?” to help them challenge their own beliefs and uncover self-imposed limitations.

5. Listening — allowing others to be heard. Asking questions and actually listening instead of hearing helps us hold space for others to explore their own problems which can be a lot more powerful than offering our own solutions.

6. Love — utilising the most powerful force in the universe. Extending love to others, even when they project negativity onto us, is how we diffuse hostile energy. Recognising that we are all one is the basis for the ability to love others unconditionally.

We don’t need to change the world, we need to change ourselves.
