7 Ways You Can Create Peace Of Mind Today

1. Meditate — clearing the mind. Practicing detachment from thought gives us a break from following each thought as it comes up and instead of allows us to experience the present moment.

2. Create — soul expression. Creativity exercises our minds and also enables the expression of emotions which is the key to preventing the manifestation of poor mental health.

3. Exercise — working out the negativity. Much of the stress we accumulate throughout the day can be removed by allowing the negativity to be worked out of us through sweat, heat & movement.

4. Rest — making time to recharge. Trying to create peace of mind without adequate rest will result in exhaustion. The vessels we live in operate at a much higher capacity when we acknowledge the importance of doing nothing.

5. Laugh — medicine for the soul. Taking life too seriously results in unnecessary suffering and death, enjoying the temporary nature of being while it lasts results in peace of mind and death.

6. Communication — getting it off the chest. Talking through our problems with people we trust alleviates much of the tension that manifests in the body & mind when we’re stressed. We create peace of mind by surrounding ourselves with positive people who will guide us to the lesson embedded in our suffering.

7. Nature — feeding the mind positive imagery. Feeding the mind violent imagery influences the subconscious mind to create thoughts based on this imagery and this results in fear-based thought patterns. This can be avoided by feeding ourselves peaceful imagery such as waterfalls, trees & mountains.
