1. Presence — living in the now. Detaching ourselves from following the movement of our thoughts allows us to focus on the present moment which is where we experience our deepest joy.
2. Peace — being instead of doing. Being present allows us to focus our attention on how we want to be rather than what we “should” be doing which is thinking that distracts us from the now.
3. Clarity — knowing what we want. Seeing into our inner world during meditation allows us to understand ourselves more deeply & this reveals our true desires.
4. Oneness — recognising the interconnected nature of being. Feeling at one with the ground, air, sky & birds grounds us and enlightens us to the vision of doing good for others to get what we give.
5. Perspective — becoming the observer. Watching our reactions to thoughts & memories during our practice shows us where we need to focus our inner work.
6. Self-awareness — reconnecting with who we truly are. We are made up of the same fabric as the universe, hence closing our eyes and looking within is looking into infinity. It is in this space of infinity & nothing that we remember who we are — God having a human experience.
