Scrutinized is a horror game developed by Reflect Studios. Creator of ‘Welcome to the Game’ series and ‘Rides with Strangers’. In Scrutinized you play as Luna Youngman, who works as a Criminal Analyst for the District’s Attorney’s Office during the day.

At night your task is to be the lead investigator of the town’s night watch program. You work from home at your computer looking for clues on the internet from potential suspects. Sifting through reports filed by citizens in the town you must look for clues in order to find suspects. To complete this task you will use the software on your computer to trace and track suspects. This software will allow you to look up their police record, internet search history, recent purchases, social media posts, even hack into their phone to find pictures and recent contacts.

Using all this information you will be able to compile all of the data to determine which suspects are bad and good. The only catch is that your spying may be detected by the suspects. Killers will be sent and attack you in your home during your investigation. Players must keep an eye on their home security camera footage for the person coming to kill them. You can avoid being killed by keeping the lights turned on and making sure all the windows in the house are closed. If you manage to survive 10 consecutive nights without being killed or kidnapped you may have a chance of beating the game.

Scrutinized is due to be released on Steam for PC July 31st of this year. Players will have the option to turn off jump scares if desired in the options menu. This game also offers an easy mode. Good luck!
