IPL 2019 for Kohli’s RCB began with despair. The team led by Indian national team captain, fell victim to several losses and was hinged at the bottom of the table. This left both the team and the fans in tears. Yet, the IPL cricket game saw yet another story of rising from the ashes- as RCB has regained its winning form.
RCB has now won three matches in their last four games in IPL 2019, and that has certainly raised the lost hopes for both the team and their fans. It has perhaps something to do with Dale Steyn coming back to his former team and raising the morale of the team, or maybe staring directly the face of elimination from IPL cricket games 2019 really shook things up. Whatever may be the reason, the Royal Challengers Bangalore has suddenly shed all their fears and inhibitions and are playing a great game of cricket and have started finding their mojo back in IPL 2019.
While, this great winning streak, might not culminate into a berth in the playoffs, but it certainly is a great boost for both RCB and it’s captain Virat Kohli. Virat and his team have responded brilliantly after losing six consecutive matches by winning three matches out of the last four. This is nothing short of a brilliant come back in IPL 2019.

One of RCB’s most heart clinching performances came when they defeated table toppers CSK by just one run. One of the most edges of the seat match, saw the table toppers failing to score one run as RCB staged a run out to salvage the match. Even the formidable Dhoni couldn’t save CSK from losing to this newly found energy of the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Even in the match against KKR, RCB was brilliant with the bat and managed to post an unbeatable total of 213. Virat Kohli has managed to find his lost form and emerged as a top player. His century and the way he led from the front. Helped RCB post such a total in IPL 2019. While KKR tried its best to conquer this task as well but failed by only 10 runs. Kohli’s return to form is great news for Indian national team also, ahead of the ICC cricket world cup 2019. RCB’s wine will also give Kohli a much needed boost before the upcoming World Cup 2019.

While RCB is now enjoying the way they are playing, there is something lacking still now. The Kohli led team has managed to figure out the batting department, but have fallen short when it comes to bowling. They have become too dependent on Yuzvendra Chahal and the other bowlers have not been making an impact in the IPL cricket games. While Dale Steyn’s addition has helped the team get wickets, but Steyn has remained extremely expensive with respect to his economy. The Royal Challengers Bangalore needs more and more players to come forward and defend the total that they have secured.
Another issue that then RCB will have to tackle within IPL 2019, is Moeen Ali departing to be with his national team- England. This problem will not only be faced by RCB, but also by other teams. Many of the English players are departing which might lead to certain void in various teams. This void will especially be felt by The Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH opener Bairstow played his last match against CSK, and will now have to leave the camp to join the English Cricket Team. This will surely have an impact on the batting line up of SRH. Bairstow is in tremendous form and SRH will certainly miss his presence
In respect to RCB too, Ali has to leave the campaign for IPL 2019 to join his national team for a small conditioning camp before the World Cup. Moeen Ali was in good form and contributed greatly to the team with the bat. His strike rate of 168.75 was above average. He was really disappointed to leave and lamented about how he would miss the campaign very much, but the World Cup is important too. It is still left to see how RCB will fill the gap left by Moeen Ali.
With this rejuvenated spirit of the RCB, IPL 2019 just got a little more interesting and spicy. Though it is still a long shot for them to reach to the playoffs, but they can certainly dampen the part for many others and prove to be a team with conviction. One thing is for sure- Kohli and his teammates will not go down without a fight.
