As the FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014 is approaching there are a series of fun stats that we could look at to predict what will really happen.

It’s amazing how 1966 and 2014 seem to have many things in common, this could either play well for England who won the World Cup in 1966 (which was played in England) or for Brasil as host country.

The Italy squad included 2 Torino FC iconic players in 1966 (Rosato/Meroni) and in 2014 (Cerci/Immobile).

24 years after the 3rd one you may get your 4th title

It may be instead the year for Germany (again) as Brasil and Italy both won their 4th title after 24 years from the 3rd title.
