We are excited to announce the release of the new and improved SportBLX User Interface (UI)!

After receiving valuable user feedback we’ve updated the look, design, and navigation of the SportBLX UI. Furthermore, we’ve optimized for mobile devices and added a few new informative sections to the homepage.

Clean New Look & Feel

The new SportBLX UI has a more contemporary and clean look. The updated interface has been lightened up to make it easier for users to read text on the homepage and asset pages.

More Efficient Navigation

Navigation on both desktop and mobile devices has significantly improved with the addition of some new elements and components.

Menu & Back Arrow Navigation
The desktop menu bar and mobile hamburger button now has a drop-down for Offerings that enables users to directly navigate to the type of assets that they are interested in viewing from any page on the site.

Additionally, in the above screen capture you will see a back arrow underneath the drop-down menu. This arrow is present on all asset pages and brings users to the previous page that they were on.

Asset Explorer & Search
We’re happy to reveal a new component — the Asset Explorer. This component lists all assets that are associated with offerings on our platform. The Asset Explorer is separated into Athletes and Thoroughbreds sections. A Teams section will be added once our first sports team offering becomes available. With each section, high-level information is provided about the asset (ex. Trainer and Breeder for a thoroughbred). When a user selects an asset they will be navigated to that specific page.

Another new feature in this component is search capability. A user is able to search for the name, sport, or team of an asset for it to appear for athletes (ex. PJ Washington will appear if a user begins to type the word ‘basketball’ or ‘Hornets’). The same is true for thoroughbreds and a user searching by name, trainer, or breeder.

Updated Asset Pages: Info & Media Section Splits
Once a user is on an asset page they will easily be able to view the latest information including a bio, personal information, up-to-date statistics, and informative documents. This new design split lets users easily consume content on mobile devices without vertical scrolling.

On the Media side, a user can watch recent videos and read the latest news associated with an asset. The entire time a user is on an asset page they may select the sticky Invest button if an offering is currently open. This will bring a user to the appropriate investment offering page based on their accreditation status (read more on accredited vs. non-accredited) and the availability of that offering type.
