SportIn Global is a social recruitment platform for the sport business industry. And the recruitment part of the platform will always be a key part. In our journey of collecting valuable insights from some of the leading sport organisations across the globe, we developed a recruitment tool built for the next generation — while solving the problem for the organisations hiring.
It was also vital for us to develop a solution that worked for both large and smaller organisations. After-all the majority of sports organisations are on the smaller side of the scale.
A common challenge among both the small and big organisations was the lack of time and resources. Ranging from not having enough HR staff working on new recruitment, to teams not finding the time to start the process and even startups and companies not being aware of the value of internships.
In that sense, we had to make sure we made a system and a solution that was easy, user-friendly and manageable for both HR-mangers and staff with no recruitment history. We are also making sure to speak regularly with both HR professionals and other organisations recruiting through us, so we can fine-tune the experience. At the end of the day, it is here to help you!
So how do you begin?
Well first and foremost you need to create a SportIn Global user. It is free and you can start here. From that point, you will need to add your organisation under professional experience on your profile page (Feel free to update it fully, as it provides a professional look for applicants exploring jobs and organisations in the platform). By now, you have created a user, a company page and all you need to do, is to send an email to info@sportinglobal.com to obtain your admin access.
And you might ask; Why do we need to request access?
It’s a great question!
For us, it was key to be involved in the process early on so we can earn valuable feedback from you and other organisations. When we are done with our final BETA version, we will transition into a self-handling system.
From your menu in the top right corner, you can find your company page. Once you are on the company page, you can edit the information about the company, including vision and values. The values section is vital, as it is one of the metrics being used for the AI recruitment system. Once you have edited all the information, you can press the “Manage Jobs” tab. See photo below.
After entering the Manage Jobs page, you will now have a full overview over your recruitment subscription, the amount of jobs available, the option to post a job and the ability to manage all active or closed jobs. You can also easily edit or adjust any job postings you have available and access each job to see list of applied candidates.
Now this is where things are starting to get really interesting. Once you click into one of your active or closed jobs, you will get a full view over applied candidates and shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted candidates are based on your process of evaluating each candidate. By clicking on a candidate (from the same list) you can view their profile, their Cover Letter and shortlist the most suitable candidates. We also added a feature with some automated feedback to candidates, so they are more aware of the process — Major plus point!
From here on out, you can easily invite suitable candidates for an interview through your preferred option. Once you have conducted the conversation and interview process, you can complete the applicant process by choosing their status according to how it went. Regardless of it was a success or not, our system will provide automated feedback to the candidates.
Not a bad way to keep your candidates happy and keep the good impression of your company.
