Announcing our 2018 Study Abroad Destination — New Zealand and Australia!

After a successful inaugural Sport Management Study Abroad trip to Dublin, London, and Paris in 2017 I’m thrilled to announce we’ll be heading to the Southern Hemisphere in 2018. On May 13th, we’ll depart for an 18 day trip to New Zealand and Australia. The trip will kick off with 10 days in gorgeous Auckland, New Zealand. The group will be staying just a 10 minute walk away from the harbor in the heart of the city.

A number of unique experiences await the participants on this year’s trip. Students will benefit from KU connections in both countries and enjoy personalized access not available to other outside groups. The group will also have the privilege to attend one of the most heated sporting contexts in New Zealand Super Rugby: a league match between the Blues (Auckland) and Crusaders (Christchurch).

- Meetings with executives of professional teams like the New Zealand Breakers, New Zealand Rowing, New Zealand Warriors, and the New Zealand America’s Cup team
