Fran Fraschilla Speaks to Sport Management Program

It was really exciting morning for the KU Sport Management program. ESPN personality Fran Fraschilla spent over an hour talking to the program students and faculty. He told some wonderful stories about his days coaching at Manhattan College, St. John’s University, and the University of New Mexico. Fran also provided the students with invaluable advice on the importance of grit (passion + perseverance) and how to never “work” if they find a career they love in sports. The Brooklyn College graduate got the crowd laughing with his favorite stories from coaching Metta World Peace (Ron Artest) at St. John’s and motivational techniques.
