Introducing our 2021–2022 Executive in Residence: Jason Booker

This fall, the KU Sport Management program will welcome our inaugural Executive in Residence. Each year, the Executive in Residence will help guide and provide feedback on all aspects of our program and develop meaningful relationships with our students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Additionally, this person will give guest lectures in undergraduate and graduate classes throughout the academic year and end their Executive in Residence term by giving a keynote address to the KU Sport Management community each spring.

Jason Booker, Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Broadcast Sales for the Kansas City Royals, will serve as our first Executive in Residence. Jason is a natural fit for this position — he has continually given back to his Jayhawk roots and will be an invaluable resource for our program over the next year. As you can see in his biography below, Jason is a proud University of Kansas alum and has extensive experience in intercollegiate and professional athletics. We are very grateful for his willingness to serve in this role — Rock Chalk!
