Okay, so I woke up today and it wasn’t a dream. Kanye West really DID put Jerry Reinsdorf on notice last night and it was the best thing.

And all day since I’ve been waiting for these twelve minutes to be picked up somewhere, right? I mean — this happened in the United Center. It was the most surreal moment on a night filled with surreal moments. While I don’t have anything to add about the show itself that hasn’t already been said better in sentence and in paragraph… THIS WAS SOMETHING NEW. This was Kanye — who afterwards acknowledged, “I don’t know if they’ll ever let me back here!” — saying things about His Airness that needed to be said years ago. This was a man wearing a shiny metallic mask telling auto-tuned, improvised truth on the same court that MJ won his six. Where’s the full coverage??
