The 2017 NFL Play-offs get underway this weekend with a host of hard-hitting American Football action in store.

The marquee game sees two of the best sides in the country pitted against each other, as the New York Giants (11–5) travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers (10–6) in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash.

The Packers have recovered from a record of four wins and six losses to win their last six games. They needed every victory to secure their place in their play-offs, and they duly delivered.

Their opponents, the Giants, will take confidence from their previous meetings with the Packers, winning three of their last four meetings.

The New York outfit will be hoping quarterback Eli Manning can replicate the magic he produced in the Giants’ two Superbowl triumphs in 2007 and 2011.

Despite two of their three playoff appearances including victories at Lambeau Field, I won’t be backing a Giants victory this weekend.

The red-hot form of the Packers and home advantage is likely to be too strong for their New York opponents, and a Green Bay win at 1.40 with sportsbet.io looks tasty.

In the three other games this weekend, the most intriguing affair looks set to be the fixture in Houston.

The Oakland Raiders (12–4) travel to the Texans (9–7) with a lot resting on the shoulders of rookie quarterback Connor Cook, who becomes the first QB to make his first career start in the post-season.

However, it’s their defense that will need to play its best game if they are to secure victory. A glance at their opponents’ offense will certainly give the Raiders great confidence.

The Texans have the worst offense in the play-offs, with their defense a reason for the team’s second straight AFC South title.

Whilst this certainly won’t be a classic, I’m expecting a cagey affair with little to choose between the sides.

For this reason, the Oakland Raiders at 2.68 with sportsbet.io looks a great value bet. Victories for the Packers and Raiders are predicted, and the double looks a healthy 3.97 with sportsbet.io.

Sportsbet.io are taking bets on all NFL action, as well as on a wide range of other sports and events around the world.
