Premier League picks — nothing to split Spurs and Liverpool before City blast Hammers

Our tipster is on a hot streak — from his four Premier League predictions so far this season, he’s got all four correct!

He’s back and hoping to continue his form, and has picked out some of the best Premier League bets for you to back this weekend.

Liverpool beat Arsenal 4–3 in their first game — but were stunned 2–0 by Burnley last weekend

Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool — Saturday 27 August

Undoubtedly the game of the weekend, two teams with top four ambitions (or even title aspirations) go head-to-head at White Hart Lane.

Last year Tottenham ran Leicester close before falling away in the final stages of the season, and they’ll be gearing up for another assault on the title this year. After a solid draw with Everton, and an unspectacular 1–0 win over Crystal Palace, they’ll hope this is the match to really kick-start their season.

Liverpool provided the result of the opening weekend with a 4–3 win over Arsenal, but also the shock of the season so far when losing 2–0 at Burnley last time out.

The two matches between these two last year finished in draws, and I like the look of the same result at 3.46 with

With these two likely to be direct rivals this year, neither manager will be too upset with a point, and with key players missing from both I don’t know if either will have the extra spark to force a win.

Our tipster is backing the draw between Spurs and Liverpool

Manchester City v West Ham — Sunday 28 August

Pep Guardiola’s reign as City boss has started almost perfectly — four games, four wins, 12 goals scored and only two conceded.

With Champions League qualification safely in the bag, and Claudio Bravo now arrived to take his place in goal, Pep’s side now turn their attentions to a side that haven’t fared so well this term.

West Ham crashed out of the Europa League last night, and have a host of players missing, including Andy Carroll and record signing Andre Ayew.

They lost to Chelsea and hardly set the world alight against 10-man Bournemouth, and I think they’ll struggle again against City — even though they were able to win at the Etihad last year.

City are only 1.29 to win, so I’m suggesting something that might give you slightly better returns.

It’s 11.79 with for Man City to win 4–0, and with Sergio Aguero in the form he’s in, you wouldn’t bet against them racking up a few against a shaky Hammers side.

If you back the Argentine to nab the first goal, Aguero is a tempting 2.38 to do so with
