Rumboyz Fantasy Sports Network published their first YouTube video six months ago, and have already amassed a loyal follow of over 1,200 subscribers. And ever since they broke onto the SportsCastr scene it’s been easy to understand their success. Whether calling play by play during the NCAA tournament, breaking down game film of NFL prospects, or hosting a raucous call-in show, Robbie J and TyeBoogie are equal parts entertainment and information. The dynamic duo might call themselves a fantasy sports network, but their knowledge and appreciation of football, baseball, basketball, ultimate fighting, etc. extends far, far beyond statistics.
Another incredible SportsCastr tandem is James and Pauly G. They jumped into the SportsCastr pool with a live stream they call “All Things VGK,” providing Vegas hockey fans detailed analysis of their hometown Golden Knights. But it was not long before the Sultans of the Sierra adapted their creativity and story-telling prowess for, indeed, All Things Sports. Morning, afternoon and night you can find James and Pauly G high-fiving an OT winner or calling the action from all over Major League Baseball. Heck, you might even find them pulling out a whiteboard with an all-time greatest sports movies bracket on it.
These two teams also exemplify what it is to be a SportsCastr with their dedication to streaming unique, earnest sports commentary. And you know what the best part is? They seem to love doing almost as much as their viewers do.
