Kings’ Road Success, Aggressive Offensive Play Help Cover Spread, Despite Defensive Struggles

The Kings have won four of their last six games, including two of three on the road. Offensively, they average over 111 points and create ample scoring chances while demonstrating aggressiveness against the offensive glass. They also have decreased their turnovers in the last three games. The Trailblazers have been ineffective on defense and at home particularly, allowing over 115 points per game. Offensively they have scored below 110 points per game and do not rebound as well, which translates to less extra-scoring chances. Furthermore, their careless ball-handling gives the Kings easy-scoring opportunities — they average over seven steals a game. The Kings may not be stellar defensively, but they excel on the road, so it is advisable to put a bet on them to cover the spread.
