Bobby Knight: “Donald Trump’s delicate language has no place in a locker room”

BLOOMINGTON, IN — Donald Trump supporter Bobby Knight separated himself from the views of the Republican candidate for the first time today, saying Trump’s characterization of his recorded conversation with Billy Bush in 2005 as “locker room” talk is “the dumbest fucking shit I’ve ever heard.”
“I’ve been in locker rooms my whole life and run most of them,” Knight told WFBK 1320 ESPN today. “No way would someone around me get away with talking about women like that. I’d throw them out of the room before they could say: ‘Wait, I’m sure I can come up with something much worse than grab them by the pussy!’”
Knight made it clear he is still backing Trump but said his friend does not have a future in athletics if he doesn’t win the presidency.
“I hear the things he says about black people and they’re just words,” said Knight. “I prefer actions. I used a whip on Calbert Cheaney, okay? People think Donald is crude? I wiped my own ass with toilet paper and then held it to my players’ faces to show them how they’re playing. That’s real crude. That’s how a real asshole does things. I would have thrown my stool at Hillary Clinton at that debate. Donald needs to stop talking about locker rooms like he knows about them. He doesn’t. He needs to stick with what he knows.”
Knight then ended the interview to yell at a friend he had accidentally shot while on the phone.
“Well what the hell were you standing there for, Gary!” the coach was heard yelling before the line went dead.
