Who Would Make 4th or 6th Team All-NBA? Or 15th or 30th Team?

Why stop with just three All-NBA teams? Let’s rank them all!

THE NBA RELEASED ITS FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD TEAM ALL-NBA SELECTIONS RECENTLY, and there were no shockers. LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo were unanimous First Team choices, joined there by James Harden, Anthony Davis, and Luka Doncic. Kawhi Leonard and Nikola Jokic led the Second Team, and Russell Westbrook and Ben Simmons nabbed the final two Third Team spots.

The NBA announced new positional flexibility with All-NBA this year, in an effort to get the best players onto the teams. That made Davis a First Team center even though he played all year at the four but didn’t have a big impact overall. I already picked All-NBA teams awhile back and made an update with the flexibility announcement and ended up pretty close to the official NBA results overall, with minor quibbles.

But why stop with just three All-NBA teams? Why not name a 4th Team and a 5th and 6th? What about a 10th Team and a replacement-level 15th Team All-NBA, or a league-worst 30th Team? Every player in the NBA deserves to be ranked fair and square, and I do this exercise every year. Without further ado, your complete 2019-20 All-NBA teams…
