Adam Gase Is The Disaster That Keeps On Disastering

If you want the perfect microcosm of the Adam Gase regime in New York, you need look no further than the sideline exchange between Gase and quarterback Sam Darnold during yesterday evening’s loss by Gase and Darnold’s New York Jets to the Baltimore Ravens (and their destroyer-of-worlds quarterback Lamar Jackson):

It’s the type of look a guy would have on his face the morning after he realized he had a black-out-drunk one-night with his cousin the evening prior… in the middle of a family reunion.

In a hair over 11 months on the job, Gase has already done a masterful job of totally alienating himself from two of the three most important players on the Jets: running back Le’veon Bell and safety Jamal Adams — arguably two of the very best players at their respective positions in the NFL.
