I can safely say this has never happened before in CFB history. All three of Ohio State’s impressive QBs are ranked in the top 16 Heisman hopefuls for next season… and we have no idea who is even going to start.

The on-line betting site Bovada has all three QBs as early favorites, although the top pick by the site is another OSU teammate, running back Ezekiel Elliot. Here’s the list:

HEISMAN3
Barett-Jones-Miller

Braxton Miller was a Heisman candidate when he was hurt and sidelined for an entire season. J.T. Barrett stepped up and was himself a Heisman candidate until getting hurt with three games left in the season. Next man up, Cardale Jones put up impressive numbers and, even though he was the third string QB to start the season, led the team to the Big 10 Championship, Semi-Final victory, and National Championship.

“They’re all very good, they’re all very invested, they’re all good people,” OSU Coach Urban Meyer said about the trio of QBs. “We have to find a way to work them into the offense.”

“The strength is the quarterbacks have continued to amaze me as far as their relationship,” Meyer told the Cleveland.com. “Cardale and J.T. have had a great spring and Braxton is coming along. You never knew how that was gonna work out.”

Braxton Miller still isn’t back to 100%, but insiders say he’s got that spring back in his step and he’s still got the arm strength. There was talk he would transfer to another school. He has that option since he’s graduated, but still has eligibility. But sources say Braxton is coming back for another season.
