If you’re a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, or Dallas Cowboys, you might just prefer to believe that elite offenses beat great defense. But if you’ve followed the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers dynasties the last couple decades, you know otherwise.
Yesterday, we ranked every NFL offense, from Washington at #32 to the Chiefs at #1. Today, the defenses get the treatment. Carolina is the NFL’s worst defense, but they have plenty of company at the bottom, while the two teams at the top won’t surprise anyone who’s been watching football this century.
