The Los Angeles Clippers have suspended forward Blake Griffin four games without pay as punishment for punching a member of the team’s equipment staff during an altercation outside a hotel in Toronto last month.

Griffin suffered a fractured hand during the incident and is expected to be sidelined anywhere from 4–6 weeks.

He was reportedly nearing his return from a quad injury, which had kept him from playing since Dec. 26, before the fight took place.
