A recently released congressional report details the actions of more than a half-dozen NFL health officials who improperly influenced a government-commissioned study into the links between football and head injuries. The report describes how the NFL coerced the National Institutes of Health to strip the $16M project from a Boston University researcher and attempted to redirect the money to members of the league’s committee on brain injuries, according to ESPN.
