Let’s escape the crazy for awhile and kick off 2021 NBA Awards Season with a look at the top rookies from the year. LaMelo Ball was a stud from the start, while Anthony Edwards came on strong late, but is either one of them the deserving Rookie of the Year?
Incredibly, five different rookies led their NBA team in minutes played this season. Five! That’s one in six teams that gave their most time on the court to a guy who had never played before this year, who never even got Summer League or training camp or preseason in the pandemic.
