Gunfire breaks out during high school football playoff game (VIDEO)

Miami Central was playing Carol City in the Florida HS playoffs when the unthinkable happen: gunshots range out.

Players hit the ground, then ran off the field to safety as the crowd dispersed.

With just three minutes to play, officials ended the game and gave the 36–8 win to Miami Central while opting for safety instead of finishing the game.

It appears now that the gunshots were outside the stadium.

While shots were apparently fired, there is no evidence that anyone was shot or hur tin the incident
