Have We Seen The Last Of Miguel Cabrera?

Saturday, prior to Detroit’s 12–2 loss to Kansas City, the team announced Miguel Cabrera was being placed on the 10-day Injured List with a left bicep issue. He is likely to miss the team’s last 28 games.

But, the bigger question is this: Will he play next season? If you ask Tiger fans and baseball fans in general, the answer is no.

Since July 28, Cabrera has an .098 average. For the season, he has four home runs, 37 RBI’s (tied for second on the team with Harold Castro) and a .256 average in 102 games.
