He’s not. Kyle Kuzma has been getting a bad rap ever since LeBron James landed on the Lakers. LeBron is notorious for making his teammates better, yet it seems as though every team he goes to never has enough talent.

Let’s Digress, shall we?

Here’s an article on whether or not the Lakers should have kept Kuzma over Brandon Ingram:

At the time it made a lot of sense to keep Kuzma over Ingram. It was clear that Kuzma had a slight edge on Ingram in their development.

Recency bias oftentimes has the casual fans in a stranglehold. Why did virtually no one have any complaints about the trade when it happened?

If Kuzma was the one who was traded away and had his own team there is a chance that he could put up similar numbers as Ingram.

It is not a guarantee but there should be confidence in Kuzma being able to at least average 20 to 25 points.

People oddly expected Kuzma to keep up his production or have his production increase with the additions of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
