It’s official. Manny Pacquiao and Nike have parted ways after the boxer said gay relationships “are worse than animals.”

Excerpts from Nike statement:

  • “We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent.”
  • “Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community.”

On his FB page, Pacquiao defended the comments, saying he was just “telling the truth of what the Bible says.”
